    Surgical Center

    The Ambulatory Surgical Center at Office Anesthesia & Dentistry is a “state-of-the-art” facility with a RN staffed recovery room         adjacent to the surgical suite. This facility is capable of general anesthesia, IV moderate sedation as well as routine local                 anesthesia procedures. The surgical facility meets all of the standards of a full operating room, having anesthesia machines and         monitors regularly inspected and maintained by biomedical engineers from Sacred Heart Medical Center, as well as the                     appropriate emergency medical units for cardiac life support and an auxiliary blackout power supply.

    This separate operating room facility has enabled our practice to treat numerous types of cases that, otherwise, could not be             treated in a normal dental setting. Dental “phobics” and patients with significant medical complications, and complicated or                 sophisticated dental problems and needs can now be treated in our office rather than in a hospital setting.
